  1. Library card



This is the library card for the Main Library of the Academy of Music. Feliks Nowowiejski in Bydgoszcz.


The library card is an electronic student ID card or library card issued in the library. Passcards are issued by deans.

LOGIN (ID) - name and surname

PASSWORD - PESEL



Remember that...

The library card / electronic student ID card can not be borrowed or given out to anyone else

Lost or damaged electronic ID should be reported to the appropriate Dean's Office and Main Lending Room


2. Semester accounting and circulation card

In order to settle the semester, the student is obliged to present the index or the examination card in the case of having an electronic index and a student ID in the library. It is not necessary to return books. The student can not have a book kept in his account.

In order to obtain an entry on the circulation card that the student receives at the Dean's Office (at the end of his / her studies, resignation and expulsion from the student list), the student is obliged to hand in all books and pay any fees owed to the Library.


NOTE: Once the circulation card is signed, the student account is closed - the student can no longer order and borrow books.



3. Dictionary

ELS - Electronic Student Identification Card.

Subject Keyword is a term used to place items drawn up for documents / books of similar content.

ISBN - International Standard Book Number is a unique 13-digit book identifier; By December 31, 2006, it contained 10 digits. According to the recommendations of the standard, this number should identify the publisher, title and publication (edition) of the publication.

ISSN - International Standard Serial Number - the eight-digit unique identifier of traditional and electronic continuous publications (eg magazines, periodicals, etc.).

LCCN - Library of Congress Control Number is a record identifier used in the Library of Congress.

LC passphrase - is a slogan used in the publications of the Library of Congress of the United States.

MARC (MAchine-Readable Cataloging) is a format used to write and exchange data in accordance with ISO 2709: 1996 (PN-ISO 2709: 1998), used in bibliographic and bibliographic databases. These data are organized and unified so that properly designed software can properly interpret them.

Prolongation is an extension of the loan book's return date.

Signature is a digital or literal sign placed on a book that defines its place in library collections.
